New leaders for sustainable finance

The WWF certificate course in sustainable finance was a début in Switzerland. Building on the success of its first edition a second training course for future leaders for sustainable finance will start on February 28th, 2012. The course is addressed to managers in the banking and insurance sector who want to acquire consolidated technical knowledge for environmentally and socially sound businesses practices and sustainable investment advice. During the six-month training course, participants will elaborate a so-called business change project and present it as their thesis. The thesis is a practical, hands-on document which finance institutes can use to improve the profitability of their business services.

Staff of The Sustainability Forum Zurich will be involved as lecturers: Our CEO Thomas Streiff and a member of our taskforce, Mrs. Sabine Döbeli in her capacity as Head of Sustainability Management at our member company Bank Vontobel AG.
