IFC SECO
SECO, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, is the Swiss federal government's centre of expertise for all core issues relating to economic policy. Its aim is to ensure sustainable economic growth by putting in place the necessary regulatory and economic policy conditions. SECO is also involved in efforts to reduce poverty through economic development cooperation. It seeks to promote sustainable economic growth and the integration of partner countries into regional and global systems by fostering stable macroeconomic conditions, encouraging investment and trade and by supporting the development of basic infrastructure.

IFC is the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. Its objective is to foster sustainable economic growth in developing countries by financing private sector investment, mobilizing capital in the international financial markets, and providing advisory services to businesses and governments. It is the largest multilateral source of debt and equity financing for private enterprise in developing countries.
