Reducing carbon intensity through energy efficiency, cleantech and renewable energy already makes sense for business and the overall economy. It increases energy productivity and therefore constitutes both an attractive investment opportunity and a vital means of risk mitigation.

Channelling capital into this low-carbon economy poses a gigantic challenge to investors, shareholders and their intermediaries. It is expected that some 85 per cent of the financial resources needed to fight climate change will have to come from private sources.

This Symposium will help you to:

  • Have a clear vision of a future carbon-constrained world
  • Identify the associated investment needs (real economy), opportunities and risks (financial markets)
  • Discover business opportunities and innovative financing models
  • Recognise good risk-return profiles and identify potential investment risks

TSF has continuously built up its role as an important think-tank, which contributes to the development of sustainable business models for financial services. We will further strengthen our network and expand our activities in order to rebuild trust in the financial service sector.
